We don’t believe anyone should dictate where you spend your money; however, some photographers do. WE CAN CREATE A YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPH THAT WILL MEET YOUR SCHOOL’S SPECS, AND WE CAN GET IT THERE ON TIME. If your school says you must go to the contract photographer, know that in years past, when parents and students speak up to say that they prefer to go elsewhere for their senior portrait often it is “allowed”.
If you find that it’s just easier to go to the contract photographer for the yearbook picture, go ahead. You don’t have to buy anything! Then come to Fran Weimer Photography for the real stuff for family and friends!
Clothing…
Every deluxe senior session includes 3 to 4 clothing changes. Be creative when selecting your clothing. You can bring casual and formal clothing. White or pastel colors are perfect for lighter backgrounds. Bring jewelry, shoes, and accessories for each outfit. For the casual poses, anything goes! Don’t forget winter clothing also. These portraits are for year round. For the yearbook picture: simple, plain outfits in mid to dark tones with long sleeves photograph the best.
Outdoor Photographs…
There is no extra charge for outdoor photographs with the Deluxe Session as long as time and weather permits.
Special Interest Photographs…
If you have a special interest, hobby, sport, etc., which you would like to have included in your portrait session, please let us know so that we may plan to include it. Bring your own props!! (car, sunglasses, hat, jacket, pet, musical instrument, sports equipment, etc.)
Hair…
Plan to wear your hair in a style you are comfortable with. Avoid new cuts just prior to your appointment.
Make-up…
The center point of interest in a fine portrait is the eyes. Eye shadow and eye liner should be applied with care. Apply two coats of mascara on both upper and lower lashes. Wear your other make-up as usual. Bring all your make-up with you in case any minor modifications are required. If you do not usually wear make-up, we strongly suggest a little blush, lipstick, and mascara to greatly enhance your portrait.
Please, NO Glitter Makeup or Body Lotions! The glitter causes white spots on images, which will result in additional charges for retouching.
Glasses…
Due to curvature and thickness, some glasses cannot be photographed without glare and may distort the face. If you wear glasses, wear them for your portrait but have the lenses removed or borrow an empty pair of frames from your optometrist.
*There will be an extra charge of $10 per pose to remove glare from glasses.
Shaving…
Men should be sure to shave just prior to your appointment as there is no way to hide a “five o’clock shadow.”
